On March 29, 2024, Nantong Jiangshan obtained the first batch of registration certificates for the use of Glyphosate products in biological breeding crops. 

The initial public announcement of transgenic varieties indicates that the industrialization era of biological breeding in China has arrived. Now, with the announcement of the herbicide corresponding to the transgenic target traits expanded as a registration certificate, Jiangshan Glyphosate will take advantage of its scale, take the lead in the layout of brand advantages, technical service advantages, participate in the promotion of transgenic demonstration advantages, localized exploration of technical reserves advantages, and quickly open up channels, showing huge market potential.

Since 2008, the state approved the launch of the implementation of new varieties of genetically modified organisms (GMO) cultivation technology major project, the industrialization of genetically modified crops policy has been introduced frequently, this year the central document No. 1 once again proposed to promote the industrialization of biological breeding expansion and speed up, at the same time, since December 6, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has twice approved 81 genetically modified corn and soybean varieties. The most resistant varieties is Glyphosate.

It is understood that since the launch of the biological breeding industrialization scientific research pilot in 2021, Nantong Jiangshan has participated in the whole process and fully, and the technical services and product quality have been verified. In 2023, the pilot demonstration of biological breeding crop fields is nearly 500,000 mu, accounting for more than 60% of the total area that can use glyphosate herbicide in the pilot, and tens of thousands of farmers have accumulated reputation.

In addition, Jiangshan Shares have a comprehensive layout of product lines and equipped "China Seeds" with "Jiangshan Plant protection Program". Around the main crops of corn and soybeans, Jiangshan Stock formulation has laid out two production bases in the north and south, covering the main planting areas of soybeans and corn, and combining the growth and development cycle of crops, laying out a rich product portfolio, providing corn/soybean whole-process plant protection programs.

The announcement of Glyphosate's registration on herbicide-tolerant GM crops will change the herbicide market landscape in the corn and soybean markets. In recent years, Jiangshan Shares with an annual output of 7,600 tons of green and efficient plant protection technical transformation, formulation upgrading and intelligent packaging and storage projects have been put into production, and invested 22 billion to build a phosphorus chemical cycle integrated industry chain project, layout of upstream products yellow phosphorus, to build a third production base, the planned production capacity of 100,000 tons/year, plus the existing capacity of 70,000 tons/year, a total of 170,000 tons/year. Phosphine oxalate and its compound certificate 3, will be suitable for the adaptation of Glufosinate ammonium resistance traits varieties ready.
