UPL's new herbicide IronGate™ (Flucarbazone-sodium + Pyroxsulam) was introduced in the United States
Recently, UPL announced that its new herbicide IronGate™ has been registered by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
IronGate™ can be used in winter, spring and durum wheat to effectively control a variety of grass weeds and broadleaf weeds, including brome, providing a new solution for weed management in wheat fields.
IronGate™ is composed of two highly effective active ingredients, Flucarbazone-sodium + Pyroxsulam, both of which are commonly used herbicides in wheat fields. IronGate™ 's low usage and significant results make it ideal for controlling harmful weeds such as wild oats, foxtail, barnyard grass and chickweed.
UPL noted that the launch of IronGate™ is a major boon for winter wheat growers facing the challenge of declining yields, especially those varieties suffering from brome grass infestation. The flexibility of the herbicide allows for use in the fall or spring, effectively preventing winter annual plant interference with crop growth, thereby protecting and increasing yields. In addition, IronGate™ 's canning flexibility enables it to provide a comprehensive defense against a variety of other weeds and broadleaf weeds.
