Sumitomo Corporation invests in French carbon fiber company Epsilon Composites
Sumitomo Corporation has signed a share purchase agreement and a shareholders' agreement to invest in Epsilon Composite SAS. The investment was completed after obtaining the necessary approvals from the authorities.
Epsilon Composites is a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) manufacturer established in 1987. Epsilon Composites uses a unique manufacturing method called pultrusion, combined with proprietary technology to manufacture high-performance CFRP products at low cost.
Epsilon Composites has sales offices in Japan, Italy, Austria, Mexico and other countries, and its business covers various industries around the world, including construction, general industries such as camera tripods and robotic arms, sports and leisure, aviation and energy industries.
