China: In the first half of 2024, 120 new herbicides were registered in paddy fields, with the largest number of Cyhalofop-butyl
After checking the China Pesticide Information Network, 120 herbicides for paddy fields were newly approved and registered in 2024, of which 60 were single and mixed, involving 9 dosage forms such as EC, OD, SLX and SC.
Among the 120 herbicide products in paddy fields, the largest number of registered active ingredients is 31 Cyhalofop-butyl, followed by Metamifop, 2-Methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid, Propanil, Anilofos, and Bentazon.
Annual weeds and annual gramineous weeds were the most registered species of control objects, with a total of 6 species
