Feng run tong plans to build 6500 tons of fine chemical intermediates production projects such as Metamifop and Tembotrione.

Recently, Tai 'an City Ecological Environment Bureau on Shandong Feng run tong New Materials Co., Ltd’s 6500 t/a of fine chemical intermediates production project (Phase I) carried out environmental assessment publicity. Shandong Fengruntong New Materials Co., Ltd. intends to invest 320 million yuan to build an annual output of 6500 tons of fine chemical intermediates production project in the existing factory.

 

The EIA is a phase I, the main production of 1000 t/a 2-Chloro-3-methyl-4-(methylsulfonyl)benzoic acid, 300 t/a Cycloethane 1.3-cycloethyldione, 1000 t/a 2,6-Dichlorobenzoxazole,  500 t/a Metamifop, 500 t/a  Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl,  470 t/a byproduct Trichloromethane.

 

2-Chloro-3-methyl-4-(methylsulfonyl)benzoic acid is the raw material for the production of Cycloethane 1.3-cycloethyldione(Tembotrione). 2,6-Dichlorobenzoxazole is the raw material for the production of Metamifop and Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl.
