Markus Dinslacken assumes new role at BASF Coatings
Markus Dinslacken, former Chief Human Resources Officer at Fresenius Kabi AG, will take over the management of the Global People & Culture Coatings unit and assume the role of Managing Director of BASF Coatings GmbH on September 1, 2024. BASF Coatings employs around 11,600 people at 70 sites worldwide.
After completing his studies, Dinslacken held various positions at Henkel and subsequently at Boehringer Ingelheim and Fresenius Kabi. His career is characterized by extensive experience in different areas of HR management and IT, in both local and global positions.
His predecessor, Mathias Schöttke, has been Managing Director and Labor Director of BASF's Coatings business since June 1, 2021. At the same time, he was also responsible for Global People & Culture. On September 1, he will take over as Managing Director of the Federation of German Chemical Employers' Associations (BAVC).
