According to the commodity market analysis system, as of October 28, 2025, the reference price for n-butanol in Shandong, China is 5,233 CNY/ton. Compared to October 1 (when the reference price for n-butanol was 5,850 CNY/ton), the price has decreased by 617 CNY/ton, a price decrease of 10.54%.

From the commodity market analysis system, it can be seen that since October, the n-butanol market in Shandong region of China has shown a continuous downward trend. During the National Day holiday, the n-butanol market was in a consolidation phase, with the fundamentals within the market remaining relatively calm and little fluctuation in market conditions. After the holiday, the n-butanol market in Shandong encountered a cold spell and prices fell, with the focus of market negotiations continuously moving towards lower levels. As of October 28th, the price of n-butanol in the Shandong region is around 5200-5300 CNY/ton, which represents a decrease of 450-650 CNY per ton compared to the beginning of the month, resulting in a price decrease of over 10% for the month.

Supply and Demand: Firstly, during the holiday period, basic logistics were suspended, leading to poor overall shipments of n-butanol. After the holiday, the overall supply in the market was abundant, and downstream users mainly focused on digesting the raw materials they had previously purchased. Demand recovery was slow, and factories actively reduced prices to ease the supply pressure. Downstream buyers took the opportunity to stock up at lower prices, but overall, demand did not show significant improvement, and market negotiations continued to operate at a low level.
