Azelis Signs Distribution Agreement with Citroleo Group to Strengthen Its Personal Care Business in Asia Pacific
Azelis, a leading innovative service provider to the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, is pleased to announce a new regional distribution agreement with Citróleo Group, a leading developer of 100% natural, sustainable ingredients and actives commonly used in personal care products. Effective immediately, the agreement will see Azelis distribute Citróleo Group’s portfolio of ingredients across India, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore.
Citróleo Group is committed to ethical sourcing and circular production and is renowned for its focus on natural materials. Its pure plant-based active ingredients, oils and butters offer moisturizing, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. Primarily sourced from the Amazon rainforest, these ingredients reflect the rich biodiversity of the region and offer a sustainable alternative that can be incorporated into a variety of skincare and haircare formulations.
Citróleo Group’s strong commitment to sustainability aligns with Azelis’ strategy to provide innovative solutions to its customers and enables Azelis to meet the growing demand for naturally derived products through our formulations. The agreement strengthens Azelis' horizontal value chain by offering a wider range of ingredients, enabling customers to create environmentally friendly products with a higher natural index.
Juliano Della Coletta, Chief Operating Officer of Citróleo Group, said: "This is the first collaboration between Citróleo Group and Azelis in Asia Pacific and we are pleased to expand our reach to five countries in the region. Azelis' broad market penetration and technological capabilities complement our products and we look forward to contributing to the personal care industry together."
Sasirin Sirilerdrawee, Director of the Personal Care Market Unit of Azelis Asia Pacific, added: "Citróleo Group's product range is a strategic addition to our portfolio, covering essential ingredients in our customers' formulations, in line with our goal of promoting sustainable personal care solutions in Asia Pacific and beyond. We value Citróleo Group's confidence in our expertise and are excited to combine our strengths to bring innovative solutions to our customers."
