Azelis Upgrades Its Personal Care Application and Formulation Labs in the UK
Azelis announces the reopening of four application and formulation labs in the UK dedicated to the personal care, home care and industrial cleaning, pharmaceutical and healthcare, and food and nutrition markets.
With all four labs located under one floor, Azelis’ market-driven lab teams can now more easily share knowledge and drive cross-innovation for customers.
The upgrades to the Azelis labs include home-based machinery for application simulations, testing and processing equipment for formulation development for the food and nutrition markets, and prototyping capabilities for cycle testing and refinement. In addition, space has been freed up to facilitate co-creation, demonstrations and training sessions with customers, both on-site and remotely.
The upgraded labs set new standards for excellence and customer service, offering greater collaboration possibilities and flexibility, accelerating the development process for innovative and sustainable formulations, and accelerating overall time to market for customers.
Charles Hawley, Managing Director of Azelis UK and Ireland, commented: “We are delighted to launch our newly renovated laboratories in Hertford, UK, where we have been continuously developing our innovation activities since moving here in 1997. Our teams will excel in sales, marketing and technical support to ensure the success of our customers. We are highly committed to our external partners and with this investment we will make the most of our principals’ products to provide our customers in the UK and across the EMEA region with tried and tested trend-setting sustainable innovations.”
Matthias Hofmann, Group Innovation Director at Azelis, added: “We are driven by innovation and the upgraded laboratories are another clear demonstration of this. With modern laboratory technology and improved facilities, our customers will be able to benefit from more innovative and sustainable formulations. All of this is based on a broad portfolio of products developed together with blue chip principals, with whom we have a long-standing trusting relationship. As part of Azelis’ strategy to expand its innovation capabilities, we look forward to the results achieved in these upgraded laboratories by our highly skilled technical team.”
