Azelis Expands Partnership with Agrana in Personal Care in Asia
Azelis, a leading provider of innovative services for specialty chemicals and food ingredients, is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement with AGRANA, a leading producer of specialty ingredients for life sciences. Effective immediately, Azelis will distribute AGRANA’s PuraBeet products in the personal care sector in China, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand.
AGRANA has over 30 years of expertise in transforming agricultural raw materials into high-quality ingredients for various market segments. AGRANA’s PuraBeet is a multifunctional skincare ingredient that is 100% plant-based and naturally derived from crystallized betaine from beet molasses. It enhances skin hydration, strengthens the skin barrier, protects against harmful substances, and helps reduce inflammation caused by chemical ingredients in personal care products. It also enhances the sensory experience of the skin by improving texture and spreadability.
Jochen Warnecke, Head of Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain Management for Beetroot at AGRANA, said: “AGRANA is delighted to be working with Azelis to expand the reach of PuraBeet® in China, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand. Given the growing demand for cleaning products, we believe that Azelis, with its focus on sustainable solutions, is the ideal partner to support our growth in these key markets. Their superior technical capabilities, advanced in-house laboratories and dedicated local technical sales team will enable us to effectively meet our customers’ needs.”
Sasirin Sirilerdrawee, Personal Care Marketing Director, Asia Pacific, Azelis, added: “We are proud to add AGRANA’s PuraBeet to our personal care portfolio. This strategic addition reinforces Azelis’ commitment to delivering advanced, sustainable solutions designed to enhance the efficacy and sensory experience of personal care formulations. AGRANA’s trust in our expertise underscores our ability to drive growth and we are confident that our team’s agility and resourcefulness will contribute to their continued success in the region.”
