Drunk Elephant Collaborates with Albéa Matamoros on Sustainable Skincare
Drunk Elephant selected Albéa Cosmetics & Fragrance to launch three new skincare products with sustainable features, namely Drunk Elephant’s D-Bronzi, O-Bloos and B-Goldi.
The collaboration brings together Drunk Elephant’s commitment to skincare with Albéa’s expertise in providing sustainable packaging solutions for the beauty market.
The products come in innovative packaging using recyclable materials such as a polypropylene (PP) cap, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) reducer and medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) cap. The cap and reducer are produced at Albéa’s manufacturing facility in Matamoros, Mexico.
The packaging is produced using injection molding (IM) and extrusion blow molding (EBM), ensuring functionality and environmental responsibility.
“This launch demonstrates how partnerships can drive innovation while prioritizing sustainability,” the packaging supplier said in a press release. “Through this collaboration, Drunk Elephant and Albéa Cosmetics & Fragrance strengthen their shared commitment to creating beauty products that align with eco-friendly consumer values while setting new standards for beauty and sustainability.”
Albéa added that Matamoros’ “strategic location makes it an ideal choice for U.S. cosmetics brands seeking supply chain efficiencies and quality.”
