Estée Lauder Companies Collaborates with Biotech Company Serpin Pharma
The Estée Lauder Companies announces a collaboration with biotech company Serpin Pharma. The partners hope to explore how anti-inflammatory research can be applied to cosmetics to bring skin care longevity benefits to consumers.
The collaboration will accelerate Estée Lauder's focus on transformative product innovation, drawing on Serpin's research achievements in serine protease inhibitors and the well-known American beauty giant's experience in commercializing breakthrough innovations.
Carl Haney, Executive Vice President of Global Innovation and Research and Development of the Estée Lauder Companies, revealed: "This new technology will drive our transformative innovation agenda and push the boundaries of scientific discovery. Working with Serpin Pharma, we are exploring powerful new biological pathways and cutting-edge biotech ingredients to quickly relieve significant skin irritation and sensitivity for prestige beauty consumers around the world."
