Azelis acquires Haarla Oy, strengthening its presence in the Nordics
Azelis, a leading innovative services provider for the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industries, announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Haarla Oy, a Finnish specialist distributor of food ingredients and industrial chemicals.
Haarla Oy, headquartered in Tampere, Finland, has a strong position in the food ingredients market and various industrial chemicals, and its product portfolio strategically enhances Azelis' horizontal value chain, consolidating its presence in the Nordic life sciences and industrial chemicals sectors. Haarla Oy has a diversified base of more than 300 customers and long-standing business relationships with renowned customers, which complements Azelis' key partnerships in the region.
