French oil and gas giant Total officially changed its name to Total Energy
On May 28, at the general meeting of shareholders, the shareholders of Total Group passed a rename resolution almost unanimously, "Total" officially changed its name to "Totalenergies" and launched a new brand logo.
Total stated that the new name and brand identity reflect Total Energy's determination to carry out a strategic transformation. The company will become a diversified energy company dedicated to the production and provision of affordable, more reliable and cleaner energy.
It is reported that Total Energy's business will expand from oil and natural gas to new energies such as electricity, hydrogen, biomass, wind and solar.
