China Sodium Metabisulfite Price Trend
According to the commodity market analysis system, the price of sodium metabisulfite in China increased this week. The average price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite at the beginning of the week was 3,996 CNY per ton, and by the end of the week, it had risen to 4,010 CNY per ton, representing a price increase of 0.33%.
This week, the market price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite (96.5% content) in China increased. The price of soda ash, an upstream product of sodium metabisulfite, decreased by 1.32%, while the price of sulfur, another upstream raw material, increased by 7.56%. The overall increase in the price of sulfur, an upstream raw material, has driven up the price of sodium metabisulfite. (The above prices refer to the quotations from major Chinese companies.
