According to the commodity market analysis system monitoring: At the beginning of the week, the price of activated carbon in China was 12,400 CNY/ton, and by the end of the week, the price of activated carbon in China was 12,433 CNY/ton, with a price increase of 0.27%.
Chinese coconut shell activated carbon manufacturer prices this week have stabilized and strengthened. The factory price for coconut shell activated carbon used for water purification in East China is between 9,500-13,000 CNY/ton. Upstream coconut shell char prices are firm, coupled with rising import logistics costs and tight raw material supply from major producing countries in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Philippines), which has pushed up the cost floor.
Wood charcoal (such as phosphoric acid wood charcoal) remains stable, with limited demand release during the peak season. Downstream buyers are restocking as needed, and some factories are offering discounts to promote sales; bamboo charcoal prices have slightly increased in some areas due to the influence of coal-based charcoal prices, but this needs support from buyers.
Prediction: The supply of coconut shell activated carbon raw materials in China is tight, and it is expected that the price of activated carbon may mainly show a strong fluctuation trend in the short term.
