First, the CPI rose slightly, the year-on-year rate of increase overall stable

 

In February, by the Spring Festival factor and international energy price fluctuations and other common influences, CPI ringgit slightly expanded, the year-on-year rate of increase overall stable.

Non-food prices rose 0.4%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points over the previous month, affecting the CPI rose by about 0.34 percentage points. Non-food, industrial consumer prices were flat from last month to 0.8%, mainly driven by rising energy prices, including gasoline, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas prices rose 6.2%, 6.7% and 1.3%, respectively. Service prices rose by 0.3% from the previous month to flat.

From a year-on-year perspective, CPI rose 0.9%, the same rate as last month. Among them, food prices fell 3.9%, the rate of decline than last month expanded by 0.1 percentage points, affecting the CPI fell by about 0.76 percentage points. Affected by international factors, domestic non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry prices rose 2.0%. Coal prices continued to fall, coal mining and washing industry, coal processing prices fell 2.4%.

 

In addition, the electricity and heat production and supply industry prices rose 0.9%, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry prices rose 0.7%; non-metallic mineral products industry prices fell 1.0%.

 

Year-on-year, PPI rose 8.8%, or 0.3 percentage points lower than the previous month.

 

Among them, the price of production materials rose 11.4%, down 0.4 percentage points, the price of living materials rose 0.9%, an increase of 0.1 percentage points. Survey of 40 industrial industry categories, prices rose 36, the same as last month.

 

The main industries, prices fell: coal mining and washing industry rose 45.4%, down 5.9 percentage points; chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry rose 19.7%, down 1.3 percentage points; ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry rose 12.9%, down 1.8 percentage points; chemical fiber manufacturing industry rose 11.4%, down 2.7 percentage points.

 

Price increases have expanded: oil and gas extraction industry rose 41.9%, expanding 3.7 percentage points; oil, coal and other fuel processing industry rose 30.2%, expanding 0.1 percentage points; non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry rose 20.4%, expanding 0.6 percentage points; electricity and heat production and supply industry rose 8.5%, expanding 0.8 percentage points.

 

According to calculations, in February 8.8% year-on-year increase, last year's price changes in the tail impact of about 8.4 percentage points, the impact of new price increases of about 0.4 percentage points.
