Vegetable prices in Zhengzhou rose significantly last week

According to the market operation monitoring results of Zhengzhou Business Bureau, last week (July 15-July 21), the city's daily necessities market was adequately supplied, and the market operation was generally stable and small. Vegetable prices rose significantly, egg prices rose slightly, and pork, grain and oil prices fluctuated slightly.
Vegetable wholesale price increased significantly
Last week, some vegetable prices showed an upward trend compared with last week. The main reasons are as follows: firstly, this year, some vegetables, such as Chinese cabbage, suffered from natural disasters such as less rain and drought, which led to a decline in production and a shortage of supply and demand in the market; secondly, some vegetables appeared "stall" phenomenon, which led to the market. The upper part of the vegetable stock and daily flow of goods less. It is expected that the price of vegetables will gradually decrease and stabilize with the continuous listing of vegetables in the later period. The retail price of eggs last week was 9.4 yuan/kg, up 6.46% from the previous week. The average retail price of white-striped chickens last week was 18.28 yuan/kg, a slight decrease of 0.65%.
The reason for the increase is the hot weather after entering the dog days, the stress reaction of laying hens under the high temperature conditions, the loss of appetite, the decline of egg production and the tight supply of eggs. Another more direct reason is that pastry factories need to start storing eggs in advance, which is the peak season of egg market sales in the first two months of Mid-Autumn Festival. Because manufacturers want to make moon cakes, cakes and other festival foods, they will purchase raw materials in advance, and this year's Mid-Autumn Festival is in mid-September, the time is relatively advanced. At present, the price of eggs has been the highest in many years. It is not expected that the price of eggs will continue to rise in the later period. The retail price of pork was 30.05 yuan/kg last week, a slight increase of 1.04%. The price of fresh pork was 0.19% lower than that of lean pork and 2.04% higher than that of lean pork. In the northern region, the price of pork is generally weak, and the price of slaughtering is serious. However, the price of hog has reached the bottom line of the farmers, and it is expected that the price will tend to be stable in the near future. The price of grain and oil fluctuated slightly. Last week, the retail price of grain was 4.99 yuan/kg, a slight increase of 1.01%. Among them, the price of small packaged rice rose 0.95%, the retail price of small packaged flour rose 1.2% and the barreled edible oil ring fell 0.19%. Our city's grain and oil market is abundant in supply, stable in demand and little in price fluctuation. It is expected that grain and oil prices will remain stable in the later period.
