The report predicts that the scale of China's cloud computing industry
According to the White Paper on the Development of Cloud Computing Industry in China issued by the International Institute of Technology and Economics of the Development Research Center of the State Council in Beijing on December 12, the future digital economy will lead the rapid development of cloud computing industry in China. It is estimated that the scale of China's cloud computing industry will exceed 300 billion yuan in 2023. Through cloud computing, millions of data can be processed in a very short time (in a few seconds) to achieve powerful network services.
The data from show that in 2018, the scale of cloud computing industry in China reached 96.28 billion RMB, but only about 8% of the US cloud computing market, which is seriously incompatible with the level of China's economic development. The report considers that in the field of cloud computing, the chip industry is still the top priority and is in the upstream position of the cloud computing industry. The self-control ability of the chip directly affects the self-control level of the cloud computing industry. Therefore, from the perspective of actively responding to the competition of new technologies and guaranteeing national security, China's cloud computing chip industry is bound to intensify research and development efforts, and strive to ensure that core chips are not subject to human conditions.
Gong Chengguang, Director of the Advisory Committee of the International Institute of Technology and Economics of the Development Research Center of the State Council, said at the press conference that China's economy has ushered in a critical period of intelligent transformation and upgrading. The emerging technologies represented by cloud computing, artificial intelligence and 5G have gradually matured and increasingly integrated, providing good technical support for the transformation and upgrading of traditional enterprises. How traditional enterprises grasp technological opportunities and solve potential challenges and problems has become an important issue in the industry. Liu Yunjie, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that the development of industrial Internet and holographic communication has brought new requirements and challenges to the network. Cloud computing can achieve the sinking of computing and storage capacity, serving users nearby, reducing access delay and improving user experience. To build a large-scale multi-cloud exchange platform, it is necessary to have flexible business control capabilities and support the unified arrangement of private cloud, industrial cloud and public cloud resources.
White Paper points out that at present, the global cloud computing industry is ushering in new opportunities, and major countries regard cloud computing, 5G and artificial intelligence as the core infrastructure to carry digital and intelligent upgrades. In the future, China should focus on accelerating the promotion and use of cloud computing in key industries, strengthen the autonomous and controllable ability of cloud computing core technology as the main direction of attack, consolidate the foundation, optimize the environment, improve the ecology and enhance security, promote the high-quality development of cloud computing industry in China, and further enhance the digital economy level.
