Paint Training Institute established in China

On March 27, at the 2019 China Coatings Conference held in Puyang, China, BCF and CNCIA signed a long-term training agreement. It is understood that the coatings Training Institute (CTI), founded by the British Coatings Federation (BCF) in 2014, provides professional coatings and ink knowledge and skills training for hundreds of students in more than 20 countries through distance learning. With the growing demand for training a large number of new entrants in China's coating industry, China Coating Industry Association and BCF signed a long-term cooperation agreement to establish a coating Training Institute in China. Tom Bowtell, CEO of BCF, said: "we are very honored that CNCIA will use the British training program as the basic training institution for new coatings in China, and BCF will give strong support to China Coatings Industry Association. The early stage will ensure the smooth start of the paint Training Institute, and BCF will also serve the Chinese paint industry for a long time in the next few years. " CNCIA will now set up a CTI program for China, including translating all training materials, creating a dedicated online learning platform, and hiring local mentors to guide students' learning. After more than two years of negotiation, we finally reached an agreement to launch CTI online training program in China. The British paint Federation said that talent training is a very important issue for the Chinese paint industry, and BCF's mature CTI module will contribute to the long-term development of the industry. With the strong support of BCF, the whole online system will be localized soon in the future. CNCIA and BCF will work closely together to train talents for China's coating industry.
