Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shaanxi Province jointly build energy revolution
On December 9, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shaanxi Provincial People's government held a symposium on energy science and technology cooperation in Beijing and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides will give full play to their respective advantages, jointly build an energy revolution and Innovation Demonstration Zone in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, promote the implementation of the energy technology revolution, practice the energy revolution strategy, explore the path and mode of energy transformation and development, and lead China's energy system reform. Shaanxi Province and Yulin city will integrate financial funds, energy resources and industrial funds, and increase investment. CAS carries out top-level design and strategic planning of energy industry, provides technical and talent support, and both sides jointly build a large-scale integrated demonstration base of multi energy integration, forming an energy revolution and innovation demonstration area integrating cutting-edge technology development, talent gathering and cultivation, science and technology innovation services, advantageous industrial capital, etc., to provide for building a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system in China First demonstration. Emerging energy technologies are accelerating the replacement of traditional energy technologies at an unprecedented speed. Systematic technological innovation centered on clean energy, smart grid and multi energy integration is leading the change of energy pattern in the future. In 2014, General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to promote China's energy production and consumption revolution at the meeting of the central leading group of Finance and economics, and put forward five requirements for promoting the energy production and consumption revolution: promoting the energy consumption revolution, promoting the energy supply revolution, promoting the energy technology revolution, promoting the energy system revolution and strengthening international cooperation in all aspects. General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussion on the strategy of "energy revolution" pointed out the strategic direction and path of China's energy development in the future from the perspective of overall situation and strategy. In order to promote the energy production and consumption revolution, we must start from the systematic nature of energy reform, consider various energy sources and technologies as a whole, strengthen the overall top-level design, promote the complementary integration and clean and efficient use of multiple energy sources, and build a new clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system; we must select typical areas, carry out pilot demonstration first, and break through the bilateral linkage and multi consumption of energy supply and consumption The core and key technologies that can be integrated will form economically feasible and technologically advanced system solutions, explore the development path and mode of regional energy overall transformation, and lead and drive the national energy systematic transformation and transformation development.
As a national strategic scientific and technological force, the Chinese Academy of Sciences thoroughly implements and implements the major decisions and strategic plans of the CPC Central Committee on the energy revolution. More than 20 energy related research institutes of CAS have established clean energy innovation research institute and advanced nuclear energy innovation research institute to build a "group army" of energy science and technology innovation. At the same time, the Chinese Academy of Sciences launched and implemented the strategic pilot science and technology project of "key technologies and demonstration of transformative clean energy", and put forward the development strategy of multiple energy integration and complementation with three main lines of clean and efficient utilization and coupling substitution of fossil resources, multiple energy complementation and scale application of clean energy, and integration of low-carbon multiple energy strategies, trying to break through and demonstrate the transformative key technologies Fan, realize the integrated development of fossil energy, renewable energy and nuclear energy, build a new energy system with multi energy integration, and accelerate the energy revolution. Yulin City, Shaanxi Province is an important energy and chemical industry base in China. It is rich in coal, oil, gas, wind, light and other energy resources. At the same time, it also has the urgent demand for the transformation and development of resource-based cities. Shaanxi attaches great importance to the work of energy science and technology innovation, and has been working closely with the Chinese Academy of Sciences to jointly promote breakthroughs in world leading major scientific and technological achievements such as coal to olefin, coal to ethanol, and synthetic gas to olefin, laying a solid foundation for the integration and development of energy technology revolution and economic transformation.
The regional characteristics of China's energy resources are obvious. To explore and promote the path of energy production and consumption revolution, it is urgent to demonstrate a number of key technologies of multi energy integration in Yulin and other regions with typical resource characteristics and industrial structure, explore and build a new system of regional clean energy sources, and lead and drive the overall development of China's energy revolution. Shaanxi Province and Chinese Academy of sciences plan to establish Yulin Energy Revolution and innovation demonstration zone by jointly building an industrialization demonstration base with large-scale integrated demonstration base of multi energy integration as the core, a scientific research and innovation base led by Yulin Branch of Clean Energy Innovation Institute, and a science and education integration base based on Yulin Branch of energy University of China. Through the construction of demonstration area, on the one hand, accelerate the industrial upgrading, scientific and technological innovation, talent gathering, and the transformation of resource-based cities in Yulin; on the other hand, through the successful cases of green development in Yulin, widely promote the application of multi energy integration demonstration in other typical areas in China, and drive the construction of clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new clean energy system.
