The first shipment of the fifth CIIE imported cold chain food into the warehouse, loaded with more than 100 pieces of frozen meat exhibits
At 9 am on Oct 20, the first shipment of imported cold chain food arrived at the main warehouse in Shanghai's Qingpu district, carrying more than 100 frozen meat exhibits from New Zealand and Australia.
Over the next 10 days, approximately 100 exhibitors and approximately 3,000 cold chain food exhibits are expected to complete minimal packaging disinfection and nucleic acid testing in the main warehouse to ensure the risk of virus contamination is eliminated before entering the museum. Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, together with relevant departments, implemented the closed-loop management of imported cold chain food (exhibits) in the Fifth CIIE, including "port inspection and quarantine, batch entry into the main warehouse, centralized disinfection and nucleic acid testing, unified transportation into the hall, and three certificates and three special management in the hall".
According to reports, this year's "general warehouse" is a new warehouse that has been selected and used. The hardware facilities of the warehouse have been rigorously assessed, and the convenience of the exhibitors in the transportation of imported cold chain food and the entrance to the museum has been thoroughly considered..According to the demand of imported cold-chain food inspection from the storage of goods, packaging sterilization, demolition of the outer packing, small packaging sterilization, nucleic acid detection, packing, labeling, packaging into a temporary library, into qualified repository, outbound, the signature of the loading of goods to examine 13 links such as it entered detailed operation process and requirements.
The Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau said that according to the characteristics of imported cold chain food exhibits at the Expo, "there are numerous varieties, and the number of each batch is small". This year, the sampling and detection of imported cold chain food exhibits has been further optimized to improve the accuracy and coverage of prevention and control points. The nucleic acid sampling test on the surface of food packaging should cover every batch of food varieties of each exhibitor, implement 100% detection, and the sampling point of each sample should cover more than 6 surfaces (samples), and the detection requirements should be more clear, specific and optimized.
