Intraperitoneal injection of matrine into mice with cholestatic jaundice induced by 1-naphthyl isothiocyanate can reduce serum aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase and serum conjugated bilirubin levels, and alleviate liver cell damage in model animals.

This product is a colorless to light yellow clear liquid.

Used to restore alanine aminotransferase and bilirubin to normal in patients with chronic hepatitis.

Slow intravenous drip, once a day, 0.15g each time, two months as a course of treatment.

Occasionally, there are adverse reactions such as mild nausea, abdominal distension, headache, and dizziness. If the drip rate is too fast, it may cause adverse reactions such as dizziness and nausea. You can continue to give the drug later, but the dosage needs to be reduced. In case of overdose, palpitations, discomfort, or irritability, sweating, fatigue, etc. may occur, which will recover on their own after stopping the drug. If necessary, central nervous system inhibitors can be used to counteract them, or supportive treatment can be given.
