Indication
Used for 1. Primary and secondary hyperuricemia, especially hyperuricemia caused by excessive uric acid production; 2. Patients with recurrent or chronic gout; 3. Tophi; 4. Uric acid kidney stones and (or) uric acid nephropathy; 5. Hyperuricemia with renal insufficiency.
Usage and Dosage
In principle, treatment should be started at a low dose. The general dosage for adults is recommended to be 1 tablet once a day, taken after meals (tablets should not be crushed). When plasma uric acid is significantly increased, the dosage can be temporarily increased, with the highest dosage being 2-3 times a day, 1 tablet each time. During medication, the daily water intake should be no less than 2000ml. For patients with a tendency to kidney stones and abnormal renal function, with serum creatinine values higher than 1.5mg/100ml or glomerular filtration rate lower than 40ml/minute, this drug can be replaced with a simple allopurinol preparation.
