Acetone is a powerful solvent and cleaner. Ideal for cleaning anything from tools and equipment to clearing up spillages. An essential material to have in stock when using GRP resin Fibreglass in any application. Ideal for cleaning brushes and mixing tools when using resin, silicone, polyurethane, etc.

Also very good as a general cleaner and degreaser for removing ink, paint, etc – however check the surface you are cleaning first. Acetone will dissolve some plastics and sometimes damages (clouds) the surface of glass.

Acetone is used in a variety of general cosmetic applications including nail polish remover. Dermatologists use acetone with alcohol for acne treatments to peel dry skin. Acetone is regularly used in chemical peeling and for toe care.
