2. Properties
Hydrogenated castor oil dimer linoleate is a white solid at room temperature, insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents. It can be oxidized by air to produce unsaturated compounds and has antioxidant properties. In addition, it can also be used to make stearic acid glyceride with a low freezing point.
