    Polyvinylpyrrolidone PVP is one of the three major new pharmaceutical excipients, which can be used as a co-solvent for tablets, granules, injections, flow aid for capsules, dispersant for liquid preparations and colouring agents, stabilizer for enzymes and heat-sensitive drugs, co-precipitant for difficult-to-soluble drugs, detoxifying agent for ophthalmic medicines and lubricant.
    It is used as foaming polystyrene additives, gelling agent for suspension polymerisation, stabiliser, fibre treatment agent, paper processing aid, adhesive and thickener.
    Polyvinylpyrrolidone PVP and its copolymers CAP is an important raw material for cosmetics, mainly used for hair styling agent, it is formed in the hair film elasticity and luster, combing performance is excellent, do not stain the dust, the use of different specifications of the resin to meet a variety of relative humidity climatic conditions, so it is an indispensable raw material for styling hair milk, hair gel, mousse. Can also be used in cosmetics skin care moisturising agents and cream base material hair dye dispersant, foam stabilizer, can improve the consistency of shampoo.
    Insoluble PVP is the stabilizer of beer and fruit juice, which can improve its transparency, colour and taste.
