Lanolin is an ideal raw material for the production of cold creams, anti-wrinkle creams, anti-cracking creams, shampoos, conditioners, hair lotions, lipsticks and high-end soaps and other skin care products. It is commonly used as an oil-in-water emulsifier and is an excellent moisturizing substance. Lanolin is a product with excellent water absorption, moisturizing, lipophilic, emulsifying and dispersing properties, and is widely used in industries such as cosmetics, medicine, leather and agriculture. A method for preparing refined lanolin synthesized in an inert gas with water, using the hydrolysis products of crude lanolin - lanoic acid and lanoalcohol as raw materials, the following steps are carried out in sequence: Take 50g of lanolin acid and 50g of lanolin alcohol, and 0.2g of potassium hydroxide in a 250ml single-mouth bottle. Continuously introduce N2 into the system at a rate of 1ml/(ml·s), and react at 190-200℃ for 9 hours. After cooling to room temperature, a lanolin paste-like solid (lanolin solid product) is obtained. That is, for a 250ml single-mouthed bottle as a reaction vessel, the amount of N2 introduced into this 250ml single-mouthed bottle per second is 250ml. 2) Add 25g of sodium chlorite and 50ml of methanol to the lanolin paste-like solid obtained in step 2), and slowly add 5g of 37% hydrochloric acid (control the temperature during the addition process to ≤70℃). Decolorize at 70℃ for 2 hours. 3) In the decolorization product obtained in step 2), while still hot, add 50ml of hot water (water at 50 ~ 55℃) for washing. Separate the upper oil phase and repeat the washing three times (under the same washing conditions as above). After cooling to room temperature, obtain a light yellow solid product. Vacuum (vacuum degree 0.096Mpa) and dry (dry at 70℃ until constant weight) to obtain 96.1g of lanolin. The yield was 96.1% and the acid value was 0.89. Lanolin is used in the preparation of cosmetics, pharmaceutical ointments, and also in the leather and fur industries. Lanolin is also used as a rust inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor. It is a natural moisture protector. Lanolin keeps the skin hydrated and supplements nutrients. Lanolin has hygroscopicity and is suitable for skin moisturizing, lubricating, softening and other skin care cosmetics. It can also be used as a fatting agent for soaps and soap, bath oil, sunscreen and other auxiliary cosmetics. It is also suitable as a dispersant for cosmetic pigments.
