Cefquinome Sulphate is a 4th-generation cephalosporin antibiotic exclusively for veterinary use，with core advantages of strong resistance to bacterial β-lactamases (effective against most drug-resistant strains of Gram-negative bacteria) and broad antibacterial spectrum.

Core Mechanism: It exerts bactericidal effects by specifically binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) on bacterial cell membranes，inhibiting the synthesis and cross-linking of bacterial cell wall peptidoglycan—this leads to bacterial cell wall rupture and rapid death. Its antibacterial spectrum covers clinically common pathogenic bacteria in animal husbandry:

Gram-negative bacteria: Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (swine pleuropneumonia), Haemophilus parasuis (swine Glässer's disease), Pasteurella multocida (swine/bovine pasteurellosis), Escherichia coli (swine colibacillosis, poultry colibacillosis);
Gram-positive bacteria: Streptococcus suis (swine streptococcosis), Staphylococcus aureus (bovine mastitis, swine skin abscesses);
Atypical pathogens: Riemerella anatipestifer (duck serositis).
