 Description for borax 

Borax Decahydrate is chemically stable under normal storage conditions. It will slowly lose water of crystallization if

exposed to a warm, dry atmosphere. Conversely, exposure to a humid atmosphere can cause recrystallization at particle

contact points, resulting in caking. When storing the product, care should therefore be taken to avoid wide fluctuations in

temperature and humidity, and to ensure that the packaging is not damaged. Buffering action Dissolved in water,

Borax Decahydrate hydrolyzes to give a mildly alkaline solution. It is thus capable of neutralizing acids. It also combines

with strong alkalis to form compounds of lower pH. The relatively constant pH of Borax Decahydrate solutions makes it

an excellent buffering agent.

Application 
 

 
   1.It can used in the manufacturing high quality glass, optical glass, glaze of pottery
 
   and porcelain, glaze of enamel, detergent, bleaching agent, cleaning agents, flame retardant, rust inhibitor and
 
    caking agent.

2.It could be also used as the carrier of the lubricant used in metal wiredrawing, the stabilizer of
 
   refractory material and skeleton former, the coated fluxing agent in metallurgy, the retarder of cement and
 
   concrete, the buffer of pH value in water system and emulsifier of paraffin.
