3-Dimethylaminopropylamine (Abbr: DMAPA, full name N,N-Dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine, CAS: 3010-96-6, EINECS: 221-139-2, HS Code: 2921290000) is a colorless transparent liquid with a characteristic ammonia odor, a typical aliphatic diamine organic intermediate with the molecular formula C₅H₁₄N₂ and molecular weight 102.18. Packaging & Storage
Standard packaging: 165kg galvanized steel drums or HDPE plastic drums, 1000kg IBC tanks for bulk orders; bulk tank truck delivery available for large volume demand. As a strongly alkaline flammable liquid, it shall be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated hazardous chemical warehouse at 5–30°C. Keep containers tightly sealed, away from open flames, heat sources, strong oxidants and acids, and avoid contact with air and moisture. Shelf life is 12 months under proper storage conditions.
Safety Information
Classified as Class 8 corrosive liquid for transportation (UN 2264, Packing Group II). It is strongly irritating and corrosive to skin, eyes and respiratory tract, and may cause severe burns. Wear acid-alkali resistant protective clothing, goggles and gas mask during handling, and operate in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from open flames and high temperature. In case of skin or eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention promptly.
