The preparation method is to add toluene into the reaction kettle, start stirring, add anhydrous aluminum trichloride, dropwise add a solution composed of 1, 1, 1-trichloroisopropanol and toluene, add dropwise at (20±5)℃ 1.5h, continue to stir for 0.5h, and then react at about 50°C for 5h. After the reaction, hydrolysis is carried out in a hydrolysis kettle at 70°C, stirred for 1 hour, stratified, and distilled toluene to obtain the product.
1,1-bis(p-methylphenyl)acetone is a new intermediate of rodenticide and rodenticide.
