Huafon Group takes the lead in establishing high-end polymer research center

Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission released the list of Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Centers for 2023, among which the high-end polymer Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Center was successfully approved.

Led by Huafon Group Co., LTD., the center is jointly built by Zhejiang University, Wenzhou Research Institute and Wenzhou University, focusing on the research of high-performance, functional and differentiated polyamides such as Hexamethylene diamine reducing cost, intrinsically flame retardant polyamide 66, high-performance long carbon chain polyamide 610, polyamide 612, semi-aromatic polyamide. Break through the key common problems such as intrinsic flame retardant and high temperature resistance of polyamide, ensure that high-end products of the polyamide industry chain are not subject to foreign technology monopoly, and realize the localization of a series of high-end polyamide products.

Recent projects of Huafon Group

On November 28, 2023, the Huafon Group’s R&D headquarters project was capped. Huafon invested 3 billion yuan (including land purchase price) to build an R&D headquarters in Minhang District, Shanghai. Relying on Shanghai, a talent gathering place and a scientific and technological innovation highland, it will cultivate new momentum, create new advantages, and inject new impetus into the company.

On November 23, the Huafon New Material Application Joint Innovation Center project officially started in Wenzhou. Huafon New Materials Application Joint Innovation Center has a construction area of 88,000 square meters and a building height of 163 meters. It is a comprehensive super high-rise building integrating office, science and technology innovation, R&D and other functions. It is also one of the major project of Wenzhou's "hundreds of billions of projects"
