The United States exempts residue limits for N,N-dimethylnonanamide

According to the U.S. Federal Register, on November 30, 2022, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued Regulation 2022-25979, exempting N,N-dimethylnonanamide from residue limits.


According to the regulations, N,N-dimethylnonanamide is exempted from the residue limit when it is used as an inert component (solvent, co-solvent and auxiliary) in pesticide formulations in growing crops, unprocessed agricultural commodities before and after harvest and in animals at a content not exceeding 20% of the weight of the preparation.


This rule is effective as of November 30, 2022, and requests for objections or hearings must be filed by January 30, 2023.
