On January 31, 2023, Hubei Jianghan New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jianghan New Materials") officially landed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company's stock abbreviation: Jianghan New Materials, stock code: 603281
Jianghan New Materials issued 66,666,700 shares at an issue price of 35.59 yuan, a price-earnings ratio of 14.80 times, and a total share capital of 26,666,667 million shares after issuance. The company intends to raise 2.059 billion yuan, and the actual total amount raised is 2.373 billion yuan, which will be used for the construction of functional silane coupling agent and intermediate construction projects, annual output of 2,000 tons of high-purity quartz sand industrialization construction project, annual output of 60,000 tons of trichlorosilane project, annual output of 2,000 tons of aerogel composite materials industrialization construction project and other main projects of the company. It is understood that the company's many fundraising and investment projects are mainly to expand product production capacity and expand product categories, improve the deployment of the industrial chain, and will not significantly change the company's current production and operation model.
The company's main products are functional silanes, including silane coupling agents and silane crosslinkers, which are widely used in new energy, semiconductors, aerospace, glass fiber, composite materials, rubber processing, plastics, adhesives, coatings and surface treatment and other fields. According to public information, global functional silanes have developed rapidly in the past 20 years, with an average annual compound growth rate of nearly 10%. In 2021, the global functional silane production capacity was about 765,000 tons, and the global functional silane production was about 478,000 tons, and the production in 2021 increased compared with 2020, mainly due to the increase in global production driven by production in China. It is expected that the global functional silane production capacity will be 762,000 tons in 2023, with an average growth of about 5.0% from 2019 to 2023; Production is expected to reach about 538,000 tons in 2023, with an average growth of about 5.3% from 2018 to 2023.
