Japan's PVC export prices to China rise 6 months in a row

October 26, Japan's polyvinyl chloride resin (PVC) export prices for piping and housing materials, etc. is accelerating because of strong demand from India and China, which are the main importing countries, while production in Europe and the United States have encountered problems one after another, tightening supply and demand.

According to the November shipment prices of large Japanese PVC manufacturers, shipments to India were about $1,200-$1,250 per ton; shipments to China were about $1,060-$1,100 per ton, an increase of $80-$90 (about 8%) from the previous month and the sixth consecutive month of increases.
