Syngenta launches Tuque™ exoGEM™, a Benzovindiflupyr fungicide, in the United States
On July 31, 2023, Syngenta launched the Tuque™ exoGEM™ fungicide in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA for the prevention of snow rot on golf courses.
Tuque exoGEM contains the active ingredients SOLATENOL® (an advanced SDHI in FRAC Group 7, Benzovindiflupyr) and Fludioxonil (a transaction-active contact fungicide in FRAC Group 12), using advanced formulation technology to quickly protect turf, And can continue to function in extreme winter weather conditions.
Stephanie Schwenke, Syngenta Turf Marketing Manager, said: "If not properly prevented, snow rot can delay the spring opening of golf courses. We are delighted that Tuque exoGEM can bring reliable control to stadium managers. It has now been incorporated into the GreenTrust® 365 snow rot Control program to provide more options for course managers, so that they can confidently prevent snow rot according to the needs of the course.
Tuque exoGEM is effective against snow rot on its own and is ideal for mixing with Syngenta's other fungicides, including Posterity® XT, Daconil WeatherStik® and Banner Maxx® II.
In addition, course managers can use Tuque exoGEM to combat seasonal turf diseases, including anthrax, leaf spot and brown spot.
