DuPont Completes Sale of Delrin® Business to TJC
DuPont announced on November 1, 2023 that it would complete the previously announced sale of an 80.1% ownership interest in the Delrin® homopolyoxymethylene (H-POM) business to an affiliate of TJC LP (TJC) on that day. The deal values the company at $1.8 billion.
Upon completion of the transaction, DuPont will receive approximately $1.28 billion in pre-tax cash proceeds, including certain regular transaction adjustments and $350 million in notes receivable, and will retain a 19.9% non-controlling common stock interest in the Delrin business.

For 41 years, it has extensive experience in investing in and promoting growth for a wide range of companies across a wide range of industries, including diversified industries, technology, telecommunications and power, logistics and supply chain, and consumer products and healthcare. TJC's senior investment team has worked together on investments for more than 20 years and is supported by TJC's Operational Management Group, which was established in 1988 to initiate and support operational improvements in portfolio companies.
