Deltech Takes Over Divinylbenzene Production from DuPont

Deltech Holdings (Deltech), a leading producer of high-performance aromatic monomers, specialty crystal polystyrenes, and downstream acrylic resins for use in coatings, composites, construction, and other end markets, will take over DuPont’s divinylbenzene (DVB) production.

DuPont plans to discontinue DVB production as part of its strategy to focus on downstream applications. Under this agreement, DuPont will transfer intellectual property and other assets to Deltech, enabling them to provide a reliable source of divinylbenzene to DuPont and its customers.

This agreement provides Deltech with an opportunity to leverage its differentiated capabilities and experience in DVB production to serve more customers working in attractive end markets.
