China Plans to Build 557 Chemical Projects in the Third Quarter, with Investment Amounts Exceeding 10 Billion Each
In the third quarter, China included a total of 557 chemical projects with a total investment of 606.4 billion yuan. Compared with the previous quarter, the number of projects and the total investment scale have increased. In terms of regions, East China had the highest number of chemical projects and investment in the third quarter, with 274 projects totaling 307.7 billion yuan; Central China had 115 projects with a total investment of 85.7 billion yuan; and North China had 40 projects with a total investment of 84 billion yuan; other regions also included more than 20 projects, with total investment scale exceeding 10 billion each.
In the third quarter, there were 11 chemical projects with individual investment of more than 10 billion yuan, mainly new chemical material projects. Among them, the largest investment project is Rongsheng New Materials (Taizhou) Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 10 million tons of high-end chemical new materials, with a total investment of 148 billion yuan. And Henan Huijiuyuan New Material Technology Co., Ltd.'s 9A green high-end interior wall new material production base project with an annual output of 5.5 million tons, with a total investment of 24 billion yuan.
