Eastman selects MKR as new European distributor of Synergex
Eastman has selected Meade-King Robinson & Co. Ltd. (MKR) as the exclusive distributor of Synergex multifunctional amine additives in Western and Eastern Europe countries like UK, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg. Synergex improves the performance and longevity of metalworking fluids.
"After an extensive evaluation process, we are very pleased with the selection of MKR,” said Rene Leppers, sales manager, Eastman Care Chemicals. “Synergex has huge potential in Europe and we look forward to working with the manufacturer to grow our business."
MKR is a privately held distribution company based in Liverpool, UK. The company has been focused on chemicals and petroleum for more than 140 years. "We are delighted to have been selected as the distribution partner for Eastman Specialty Amine Additives in the UK and Europe," said Dave Smith, Sales Manager at MKR. "Focused on the metalworking fluids market, we bring a unique combination of formulation, application and ingredient knowledge. This allows us to engage with existing and potential customers to communicate the benefits of Synergex and how it addresses formulation challenges."
Eastman partners with another amine additives distributor in Central Europe. GB Chemie GmbH is responsible for the distribution of Synergex in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
"We are very pleased with the performance of GB Chemie in Central Europe and would like to find an additional distributor to help us enter the rest of Europe," said Leppers. "MKR will help us tap into new markets with its broad reach."
