CropLife Europe launches AgriGuide, an intelligent solution for pesticide data
Recently, CropLife Europe has announced the launch of AgriGuide, an innovative digital tool designed to optimize data collection for traditional pesticides and biopesticides. This tool, sponsored by CropLife Europe, aims to simplify the onerous regulations faced by farmers and reduce the administrative burden, while improving the safety and environmental sustainability of agricultural production.
AgriGuide's core strength lies in optimizing the sustainable growth of crops. The tool, which complies with Regulation 2023/564, lays the foundation for more accurate risk assessments through real-time data collection and digital record keeping.
AgriGuide, which is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2024, will revolutionize the way data is collected on traditional pesticide and biopesticide use. Farmers will gain unique access to a centralized database, making it easy to enter usage data and track progress over time. This digitisation process will result in more accurate, detailed and updated records, significantly reducing the probability of errors and ensuring continued compliance with regulatory requirements.
The development of AgriGuide is the result of a joint effort between CropLife Europe and other key players in the agricultural industry. This collaborative model guarantees the continued development and adaptability of the tool to meet the needs of farmers in an evolving regulatory environment. AgriGuide represents not only a milestone in technological innovation, but also a model of win-win cooperation in the agricultural sector.
