Yellow Wood Partners Acquires Elida Beauty from Unilever
Boston-based private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners LLC announced the acquisition of Elida Beauty from Unilever.
Elida Beauty includes well-known consumer brands such as Q-tips®, Caress, Ponds, St. Ives, Impulse, Noxzema, Monsavon and Timotei.
Tad Yanagi, Partner at Yellow Wood Partners, said: "We are pleased to complete this separation with Unilever and welcome Alfie Vivian and the Elida Beauty team to the Yellow Wood family. Our experience in brand building in North America and international markets will help unlock Elida's global growth potential as a newly independent company."
With this acquisition, Yellow Wood's portfolio now includes more than 50 consumer brands with total retail sales of approximately $3 billion, further strengthening its position in the beauty and personal care markets.
