The Sherwin-Williams Company (Cleveland) recently announced its 2019 aerospace coatings training program schedule, with classes accommodating various levels of experience, covering subjects from paint repair and surface prep to applying new chrome-hazard free primers and composite surfacer systems.

“Through these training sessions, new technicians can become better acquainted with our products and the best aerospace coatings application techniques, while seasoned professionals can take time to refine their skills in an actual shop setting,” said Richard Giles, Sherwin-Williams Global Technical Service & Training Manager for Aerospace Coatings.

“In addition, all attendees will have a chance to review and update their knowledge on important base chemistry and coatings characteristics such as corrosion prevention, troubleshooting, reparability and other application guidelines.”

Training sessions will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. The $349 registration fee covers both classroom and hands-on training, as well as a training certificate. While the education center has the necessary equipment, attendees may bring their own if they prefer.
