Revolutionary Breakthrough! AkzoNobel Low-Temperature Cured Powder Coatings: Cured at 150°C, Save 20% Energy, Speed Up 25%
Akzonobel has introduced the industry's first low-temperature curing architectural powder coating that can cure at temperatures as low as 150°C while still meeting Qualicoat Level 1 certification. It cures at temperatures as Low as 30°C compared to traditional powder coatings, which shows that the Interpon D1036 Low-E can help customers reduce energy consumption by up to 20%.
Faster curing: The coating cures 25% faster than traditional powder coatings, which means more products can be coated in less time. The sustainability of a product is certified by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), an independent verification assessment of the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle.

Low temperature curing building powder coatings offer a number of significant advantages:
Low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions: Compared to traditional solvent-based coatings, powder coatings contain almost no VOC and are more environmentally friendly.
Solvent-free use: The production process of powder coatings does not involve solvents, thus reducing the emission of harmful substances and helping to improve air quality.
Recyclability: The oversprayed powder produced in the coating process of powder coating can be recycled and reused, effectively reducing the waste of resources.
Strong durability: Powder coatings demonstrate excellent weather, corrosion and wear resistance, helping to extend the service life of buildings.
