Sika Expands Concrete Admixture Production in Florida

ECHEMI 2024-09-27

Sika has broken ground on a 29,000 square foot admixture production facility, which is expected to be operational by the end of 2025.

The new Haines City facility will produce Sika’s latest admixture innovations, including its new ViscoCrete and ViscoFlow polycarboxylate technologies for the concrete industry.

“We are committed to providing the highest quality solutions and services,” said Thomas Strittmatter, Executive Vice President of Concrete. “Sika’s investment in an admixture facility in Haines City further demonstrates our commitment to the concrete industry and, more importantly, to our current and future customers in Florida.”

Sika’s investment in its Haines City operations is part of an ongoing strategy to optimize supply channels to meet the growing needs of customers near key markets in Florida. This investment will not only improve finished product logistics, but will also significantly reduce CO2 emissions by 7,822 tons by 2032, underscoring Sika’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
