Givaudan and Privi partner to operate Mahad Fragrance Ingredients Plant
Givaudan announces the commencement of operations of the new Mahad Fragrance Ingredients Plant, a key development in its joint venture with Privi Speciality Chemicals Limited (Privi), a leading Indian aroma chemicals producer.
The Givaudan and Privi joint venture is called Prigiv, with Privi holding a 51% stake in the joint venture and Givaudan holding the remaining 49%. The new plant will produce a variety of value-added products, with plans to gradually scale up production over the next two to three years.

This state-of-the-art plant will enhance our ability to deliver high-quality fragrance solutions, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our customers while jointly driving sustainable development,” said Maurizio Volpi, President of Fragrances and Beauty at Givaudan.
