L’Oréal and Tru Diagnostic Collaborate on Epigenomic Research in Beauty and Personal Care
L’Oréal and Tru Diagnostic have entered into a research partnership focused on the relationship between epigenetic markers and skin and hair health. The partnership aims to find new approaches to beauty through epigenomic data.
L’Oréal’s long-standing research in the field of beauty biology will be combined with Tru Diagnostic’s expertise in epigenetic testing.
The parties plan to conduct studies to explore the relationship between changes in DNA markers and aesthetic indicators and overall skin and hair health.
The results of the study may pave the way for the development of new products and the expansion of consumer products for long-term care.
Consumers are increasingly interested in ways to promote lasting skin and hair health. By studying the epigenetic basis of beauty, L’Oréal and Tru Diagnostic aim to lead the scientific field to redefine personal care through more targeted, data-driven solutions.
