Dow Sells Telone Soil Fumigation Product Line for $121 Million
Dow announced that it has completed the sale of soil fumigation product Telone to TriCal Soil Solutions, which is committed to helping growers maximize yields and protect crops through mature soil fumigation solutions. The transaction is in line with Dow's best owner mentality strategy to focus on core businesses.
Marco ten Bruggencate, president of Dow Industrial Intermediates and Infrastructure Operations, said: "We are pleased to announce that the divestiture has been successfully completed. This move is highly consistent with Dow's strategic direction of focusing on core downstream businesses. In the future, the Telone product line will further strengthen its layout in the agricultural field by concentrating resources to seize the continued growth opportunities in this market segment."
The transaction value is US$121 million, which is approximately 10 times the operating EBITDA in 2024.
