Jotun Coatings Gains Approval for $1.8 Million Fireproof Coating Expansion in Zhangjiagang
The project, located at 39 Nanhai Road, Jiangsu Yangtze River International Chemical Industrial Park, involves a total investment of 13 million yuan ($1.8 million).
The expansion will add a new production line for fireproof powder coatings within the existing workshop without constructing additional buildings. Utilizing raw materials such as epoxy resin and barium sulfate, the production process involves weighing, premixing, and extrusion, focusing exclusively on physical changes.
The project is subject to strict pollution control and environmental risk prevention measures as outlined in the environmental assessment. Further approvals for land, planning, safety, and energy efficiency are required before implementation.
